Transfer Station Groundbreaking |
|
The City of Las Vegas Solid Waste Transfer Station
will soon be under construction to complete a total revamp of its
facilities which will take place over a period of about four
months. Improvements include the replacement and/or repairs of
doors, electrical panels and lighting, fire emergency system,
heating, exhaust and much more. |

Solid Waste Rate Increase |
|
On July 28, 2010, the governing body adopted
Ordinance #10-20 that changes the solid waste rates. This ordinance
went into effect August 9, 2010. Customers will begin to see the
current changes in their bills that go out beginning in March. Below
is a copy of the adopted rate schedules. If you have any
questions regarding the rate changes please contact Utility Customer
Service at 505-454-3832. |
