Pancho Padilla Park
The City welcomes residents to Pancho Padilla Park, a peaceful neighborhood spot located off Mountain View Drive. With new upgrades now in place, the park is more comfortable and family-friendly than ever.
Pancho Padilla Park is named in honor of Richard “Pancho” Padilla, a respected community member and longtime City employee who served as Street Superintendent until his retirement in 2004. His legacy lives on in this special community space.
Thanks to a $91,000 Quality of Life Grant from the Department of Finance and Administration, the park now features:
-
Two large fabric shade canopies with cement pads
-
Five new trash cans
-
Eight metal tables
-
Six pedestal benches
New playground equipment is also coming soon, adding even more ways for children and families to enjoy the outdoor location.
If you haven’t visited in a while, now is a great time to stop by. Whether you are relaxing in the shade, enjoying a picnic, or watching a soccer game, Pancho Padilla Park is ready to welcome you.
