The City of Las Vegas is currently in stage seven (7) water restrictions under a declaration of emergency due to our limited water supply. The City must ensure that our citizen’s health and safety is first and foremost. It is with a heavy heart that as of Monday August 15, 2022, the City of Las Vegas will postpone all upcoming City sponsored events, or events on City owned property, until further notice.
This decision did not come easy; we understand how much time and effort goes into planning these events, and how important these events are to the community. We ask for your support during this water crisis and we ask that any private organizations, businesses, or non-profits would reconsider their planned events and postpone them to a later date.
The City is working diligently to secure our water supply; our goal is to reinstate all events as soon as the new water filtration system is up and running. We know our community is strong and we will get through this together.
