The City of Las Vegas would like to inform residents of holiday closures and adjusted facility hours on Monday, October 12, 2026, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day
The following closures and modified hours will be in effect:
Closed: City Hall, Utility Customer Service, Carnegie Library, Rough Rider Memorial Museum, Municipal Court and Senior Centers.
Abe Montoya Recreation Center: Open from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. and closed for the remainder of the day.
Solid Waste Services: Residential and commercial collection routes will operate as regularly scheduled. The Transfer Station will be closed.
Regular City operations and business hours will resume on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.
