PSA 4/8/2026 8:00 a.m.: Ongoing Tree Trimming Work at Lion Park
The City of Las Vegas Parks Department will continue to perform tree trimming at Lion Park today, Wednesday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Staff will trim overgrowth on the trees. Partial lane closures will be in place along Lincoln Avenue and Manzanares Street. A bucket truck will be used, and areas will be coned off from traffic. Staff will direct traffic around the worksite and divert vehicles when necessary. We appreciate your patience while this work is being completed.

PSA 4/7/2026 9:00 a.m.: 8th Street Closure from Dora Celeste Avenue to Williams Drive for Drainage Improvements
The City of Las Vegas Public Works Department has a contractor working on drainage improvements from today, April 7, through Friday, April 10. During this time, 8th Street from Dora Celeste Street to Williams Drive will be fully closed. Residents in the area will still have access, but through traffic will not be permitted.
