PSA 10/26/2026 9:00 a.m.: Veterans Advisory Council Meeting to Offer Benefits Assistance in Las Vegas
The City of Las Vegas encourages local veterans, their families, and community members to attend the Governor’s Veterans Advisory Council Quarterly Meeting on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at VFW Post 1547, located at 148 Mills Avenue in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
Hosted by the New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services (NMDVS), this meeting could be especially important for veterans and family members who need assistance accessing benefits and services. Attendees will have the opportunity to share concerns and priorities with the council, while NMDVS staff will be available to provide assistance with property tax waivers, exemptions, lifetime park passes, VA claims, health care eligibility, disability compensation, and other state benefits.
