PSA 10/28/2026 3:00 p.m.: Las Vegas to Celebrate Veterans with First Annual Parade and Celebration
Honoring Those Who Have Served
The City of Las Vegas invites the community to come together on Saturday, November 7, 2026, for the First Annual Veterans Day Parade. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., the parade will celebrate the men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.
Under the theme “Stars, Stripes & Service: A Red, White & Blue Veterans Parade,” the event is a chance to show our veterans how much their service and sacrifices mean to our community. The parade will begin at Second Street and Baca Avenue and end at Plaza Park. Veterans, military families, local organizations, businesses, and residents are encouraged to participate, line the parade route, and help make this first annual event a meaningful celebration of those who have worn our nation's uniform.
To register to participate in the parade, visit www.lasvegasnm.gov.
The Celebration Continues at Buffalo Hall
The celebration will continue on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at noon at Buffalo Hall, where the community can come together for an afternoon and evening of live music, performances by various bands, and special recognition of our veterans.
With the United States celebrating its 250th anniversary in 2026, this event is an opportunity to reflect on our nation's history and recognize the generations of service members who have helped protect the freedoms we enjoy today. Behind every uniform is a story of service, sacrifice, and dedication, and this celebration is a chance to honor those stories while bringing veterans, families, and neighbors together.
The City of Las Vegas hopes this first annual event will grow into a beloved community tradition for years to come. Everyone is invited to wear their red, white, and blue, join the festivities, and help show our veterans that their service will never be forgotten.
