PSA 10/9/2026 - 10:00 a.m.: Water Leak Repair on Grand Avenue

The City of Las Vegas Water Distribution Division is currently conducting emergency repairs to a water leak in the Grand Avenue area. Crews will continue working until repairs are completed, with an estimated completion time of 9:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Affected Area: The following areas will be closed to traffic while emergency repairs are underway and may experience low water pressure or a temporary water outage during repairs:

·        Grand Avenue: 100 and 200 blocks, from Tilden Street to Prince Street.

·        9th Street: 200 block, from Tilden Street to Grand Avenue.

·        Gallinas Street: 900 block.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes, follow posted signage and exercise caution around crews and equipment. The City apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as crews work diligently to complete repairs and restore normal water service.
