PSA 2/12/2026 - Paving and Water Service Work to Improve City Infrastructure

The City of Las Vegas will be conducting road and utility improvement projects on February 12 and 13, and motorists are advised to plan accordingly.

The Public Works Department has a contractor completing asphalt paving on Ridge Runner Road today, February 12, and tomorrow, Friday, February 13, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Motorists should expect a single-lane closure with traffic control in place. Drivers are urged to reduce speed, use caution, and follow all posted traffic control signs and personnel instructions to ensure the safety of workers and the traveling public.

The Water Distribution Division will continue installing water services today, February 12, until approximately 4:30 p.m. on Hot Springs Boulevard. A road closure will be in effect from Bernalillo Street to Valencia Street, and traffic will be redirected. Drivers are urged to use caution and follow posted signage. Residents in the 1900 - 2100 blocks may experience low water pressure or a temporary outage during the work.
