PSA 3/14/2025 5:00 p.m.: Mandatory Boil Order Lifted for the City of Las Vegas

We are pleased to announce that the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) Drinking Water Bureau has confirmed that the Boil Water Advisory for the City of Las Vegas, issued on February 18, has been officially lifted. A press release from NMED will be distributed shortly.

We understand the inconvenience this advisory has caused, and we truly appreciate your patience during this time. You may now use the water safely for all normal activities, including drinking, cooking, and for your animals. There is no need to flush the lines.

This achievement is the result of hard work from our dedicated staff and collaborating agencies. Thank you again for your understanding and cooperation.

Se Levanta la Orden de Hervir el Agua en la Ciudad de Las Vegas

Nos complace anunciar que el Departamento de Medio Ambiente de Nuevo México (NMED) ha confirmado que la advertencia de hervir el agua para la Ciudad de Las Vegas, emitida el 18 de febrero, ha sido oficialmente levantada. Un comunicado de prensa de NMED será distribuido en breve.

Sabemos que esta advertencia ha causado inconvenientes y realmente apreciamos su paciencia durante este tiempo. Ahora pueden usar el agua de manera segura para todas las actividades normales, como beber, cocinar y para sus animales. No es necesario purgar las tuberías.
