PSA 4/4/2025 8:00 a.m.: Winter Storm Warning for Las Vegas: Prepare for Hazardous Weather Conditions

Effective from 9 PM Tonight until 6 PM Saturday
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Las Vegas and surrounding areas. Heavy snow and blowing snow are expected, with total snow accumulations potentially reaching up to 10 inches. Reduced visibility and hazardous travel conditions are likely, especially along U.S. 64/87, U.S. 54, and Interstate 25. Dangerous driving conditions are anticipated due to snow accumulation and icy roads.
In addition, strong winds may bring down tree branches, which could result in power outages. Temperatures are expected to drop well below freezing, adding to the risks.
