PSA 7/30/24 City of Las Vegas Eases Water Restrictions for Restaurants and Commercial Car Washes

Las Vegas, NM -After a period of stabilized water reserves, the City of Las Vegas will be easing the following water restrictions for businesses:

• Restaurants: Effective immediately, restaurants can operate at full capacity without using disposable paper products such as plates, cups, and plastic ware. While it is suggested to use these items to conserve water, it is no longer required.

• Commercial Car Washes: May resume limited operations during normal hours on Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays only, starting Monday, August 5, 2024.
  

Laundromats will continue limited operations on the following days: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays only.

We continue to ask all residents to conserve water while we work through the complex logistics of getting the pre-water treatment plant operational. Your cooperation is vital to ensure we maintain public health and safety during this transition. We appreciate your patience, even though we understand it has been challenging. We will keep you informed with updates as they become available.
