The City of Las Vegas Abe Montoya Recreation Center would like to announce that the facility currently has no internet and phone service.
Contractor crews working on new utility lines in the area cut fiber lines coming to the facility. We are still open.
We will be closing Friday, April 15, 2022, at 12:00pm in observance of the Easter Holiday.
The Abe Montoya Recreation Center will reopen on Monday, April 18, 2022.
Starting Thursday, April 14, 2022, the Abe Montoya Recreation Center’s Basketball and Racquetball Courts will be closed until Friday, May 6, 2022, due to the current Hermit Peak’s Wildfire in San Miguel County. The Abe Montoya Recreation Center will be hosting the Fire Crews fighting the wildfire. During the closure of the basketball and racquetball courts the Abe Recreation Center will be providing outdoor basketball courts in the parking lot.
