PSA 8/13/2026 10:00 a.m.: Fire Hydrant Flushing Scheduled for Today

The City of Las Vegas Water Division will be flushing fire hydrants for compliance sampling today, Thursday, August 13, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. this evening. Although the City remains under Stage 3 Water Restrictions, this work is necessary to help maintain water quality, verify system performance, and ensure reliable fire protection.
Flushing will occur in the following areas:
Lori Lane and Cassidy Drive area
Kathryn Drive and 8th Street area
Legion Drive and Grand Avenue area
There should be no water outages associated with this work. The safety and health of our community remain our top priorities. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to maintain and improve our water system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
