FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE


The City of Las Vegas Offices will be closed Friday, November 8, 2024 due to hazardous and extreme weather conditions. Essential personnel are on duty supporting efforts to maintain and restore public safety.


Anyone that is experiencing issues with heat; pilots being out, etc. – may contact the Las Vegas Police Department Dispatch Center at (505) 425-7504 for further guidance and assistance. If you have propane issues, please call your propane vendor.Please dial 911 for any emergency issues.


The Abe Montoya Recreation Center will continue remaining available as a “warming center” for those individuals experiencing heat issues. For further information please contact the Abe Montoya Recreation Center at

(505) 426-1739.


Roads are currently being cleared of ice and snow in phases. This process will continue throughout this storm. We ask that the Public remain patient with us as we continue to work for everyone’s safety.


The City of Las Vegas will continue to provide updates on the current and ongoing situation and will remain available to the public for any emergency needs.
