City of Las Vegas Utilities staff continues to work around the clock, as they have since Wednesday afternoon, to determine the cause of low water pressure and water outages affecting the general areas of Camp Luna, Los Vigiles, Country Acres, Airport Road, and NM HWY 518 around Storrie Lake. We are still investigating reports of potential water leaks related to the undetermined loss of water and encourage the public to report any areas where leaks may be occurring.
The Water Treatment Plant is continuing to produce water, but water usage is exceeding production. Essential maintenance to the water system is also necessary, which requires additional water to maintain system regulations. We are asking all residents of the City of Las Vegas to continue conserving water and limit usage to essential needs only, so city staff can continue working to resolve the issue.
If you notice unusual pooling of water on your property or in any area that could indicate a water leak, or if you are experiencing low water pressure or have no water at all, please call 505-617-6579 or 505-454-1401 Ext. 1006 and leave a message. This information will help narrow down the affected areas so the city can properly address the needs of the community. The Camp Luna area has been identified as the most impacted at this time.
Water distribution for those without water in the Camp Luna area will take place this afternoon. We will be providing more information on the staging area and requirements as details are provided. Please call 505-617-6579 or 505-454-1401 Ext. 1006 if you live in an area currently experiencing a water outage and are not in the Camp Luna area, so we can further assess the water needs of those affected.

Updates will be provided as they become available. Please visit our website at www.lasvegasnm.gov and the Las Vegas City Government Facebook page for updates. Please continue sharing this information.
