City of Las Vegas Utility staff have identified a water leak and are actively working to resolve the issue. The water leak took some time to become visible above ground, but it has now surfaced. During this period, residents may continue to experience low water pressure and outages. For those still with access to running water, it is crucial to conserve as much as possible.
Some residents have reported hearing thudding sounds from toilets, which is caused by increased water pressure going to those areas and is a common occurrence in such situations. If anyone notices pooling water or an area that appears to have a water leak during this time, please contact 505-617-6579 to report it so it can be investigated.
Water delivery to homes currently affected by outages is underway and will continue throughout the afternoon. There is a long list, and staff are doing their best to deliver water. If you haven’t already left a message, please call 505-617-6579 to be added to the delivery list. All messages have been logged, and staff are aware of the areas in need. They will be working through the identified areas to ensure water delivery throughout the location. Additional updates will be provided as they become available.
