- PSA May 3, 2022 Due to water line break Lincoln Ave. will be closed from 7th Street to 8th Street.
The City of Las Vegas Water Division will be repairing a main water line break on Lincoln Ave. The road will be closed on the 700 block of Lincoln Ave. from 7th Street to 8th Street. Detours will be in place so please proceed with caution. The area may experience low water pressure or a water outage. We hope to have the repair completed as soon as possible and apologize for the inconvenience this will cause. The Solid Waste Transfer Station will be open today Sunday, March 1, 2022 until sunset. Containers are set up to take tires and debris at no cost. This is the opportunity to clear your property of potential flammable materials.
- PSA April 29, 2022 Water Treatment Plant Update.
The City of Las Vegas utilities Department Water Treatment Plant is currently treating water as usual and meeting all state and federal standards. Firefighting resources are on site at the reservoir and water treatment facility to ensure continued operations. There are no impacts to water quality and at this time, the reservoir and water treatment facility have not been impacted by the Calf Canyon/ Hermits Peak Fire. The City of Las Vegas is prepared with a generator back-up plan to maintain operations in the event of a power outage. Water Treatment Facility will remain staffed 24 hours and will update any changes.

Due to a valve repair, the effluent water standpipe at Utilities Service Center located at 905 12th street will be out of service on Friday, April 29,2022. The Solid Waste Transfer Station will be closed Tuesday, April 26, 2022, due to excessive trash in bay and plan to open Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
