Feb. 9, 2024 PSA Statement Regarding Temporary Closure of Las Vegas City Hall

LAS VEGAS, NM - At 8:10 am today, Interim City Manager Tim Montgomery for the City of Las Vegas met with City staff working at City Hall, 1700 North Grand Avenue. In the meeting, Mr.

Montgomery informed staff that, due to the results of an environmental study conducted for the building, it would be best to temporarily close City Hall and relocate staff. Staff completed their removal from City Hall by 11:00 am today.

During this temporary closure, City staff will either be relocated to other City office locations or authorized to temporarily work remotely. Members of the public visiting City Hall will find that the doors are locked, however, in the next few days relocated staff contact information will be posted on the glass entry doors as well as online on the City's website. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
