PSA 1/14/2025 8:45 a.m.: Tree Trimming Ongoing at Welcome Center Park and Rodriguez Park

The City of Las Vegas Parks Division will be trimming trees at Welcome Center Park today, January 14, and tomorrow, January 15, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Entrances from New Mexico Avenue, Union Street, and Grand Avenue will be temporarily closed to traffic and marked with cones and signage. Work areas will be coned off and taped with caution tape, and staff will be on site as spotters for pedestrian traffic. Please follow all posted signage and staff instructions.
Tree trimming at the Rodriguez Park complex is scheduled to begin Friday, January 16, and Monday, January 17, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Signage, cones, and caution tape will be in place to clearly designate work areas during trimming operations.
This maintenance is necessary to help keep our parks safe, clean, and enjoyable for all visitors. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we complete these important improvements.
