The City of Las Vegas is excited to share the plans and designs for the new Animal Care Center currently under way. Residents are invited to attend an informative session on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the City Council Chambers, 1700 N. Grand Avenue, Las Vegas, NM, to learn more about the project.

At the session, you can:

• Learn about the potential design and layout of the new facility, including potential options for indoor and outdoor spaces and adoption areas

• Understand the services and programs the center will offer, from pet adoptions to community education and animal wellness programs

• Ask questions and provide feedback to City staff
