PSA 2/19/2026: Kennel Viewing Closed at City of Las Vegas Animal Care Center Due to Weather

Due to high winds and cold temperatures, the City of Las Vegas Animal Care Center will temporarily close kennel viewing. Kennel covers will remain down to block cold wind and maintain a warm, comfortable environment for the animals.

Visitors looking for lost pets or interested in adoption are still welcome. Staff will provide access to the center’s photo book and can bring animals out individually to meet prospective adopters.
