PSA 3/3/2025 1:00 p.m. - High Wind and Red Flag Warning Issued for Las Vegas and Surrounding Areas

The City of Las Vegas is under a High Wind Warning and Red Flag Warning until 7:00 p.m. this evening, with the possibility of continuation into tomorrow. Southwest winds of 25-45 mph, with gusts up to 70 mph, are expected. Dangerous crosswinds and blowing dust may reduce visibility and impact travel.

Strong winds could bring down trees and power lines, causing outages. Due to critical fire weather, avoid outdoor activities, and open burning is strictly prohibited.
