PSA 3/5/2025 3:00 p.m.: Water Management Project: Transfer of Recycled Lagoon Water to Bradner Reservoir

The City of Las Vegas is currently moving recycled water from a lagoon at the Water Treatment Plant to Bradner Reservoir. The lagoon serves as a collection pond for water of plant activities, such as backwashing. Transferring the water to the reservoir ensures compliance with environmental regulations. The plan has been approved by the New Mexico Environment Department Drinking Water Bureau to ensure compliance with state regulations for safe water management and environmental protection.
