City of Las Vegas Animal Control is currently working to safely trap a pack of dogs that have been lingering around the Union Street area. Traps have been set, and the public is asked not to feed the dogs or interfere with them.

Community cooperation is critical to the success of this effort. Feeding the dogs or disturbing the traps can delay capture, make the animals more difficult to safely manage, and increase risks for both the public and the animals themselves. Allowing Animal Control to carry out this work without interference helps ensure the dogs can be handled humanely, resolving the situation as quickly and safely as possible.

Community awareness is important. Please notify Animal Control if you see the animals or notice any issues with the traps at 505-425-7504.
