PSA 6/23/2025 2:00 p.m.: University Avenue Closure Notice (7th Street to 5th Street)

Road Affected: 6th Street at University Avenue (between 5th Street and 7th Street)

Closure Begins: June 23, 2025

Estimated Completion: July 30, 2025 (weather permitting)

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pacheco Construction will begin Phase 2 of asphalt paving on 6th Street. The project is designed to improve roadway quality by addressing surface irregularities and applying a thicker, more durable asphalt layer.

Traffic Impacts:

• Full closure of 6th Street between 5th and 7th Streets during work hours.

• University Avenue between 8th and 7th Streets is now open, allowing traffic to pass through 7th Street.

• Expect disruptions in the area surrounding the work zone, particularly between 5th and 7th Streets.

• Detours and traffic control will be in place. Please follow posted signage and proceed with caution.
