PSA 8/11/2025 1:00 p.m.: Promote Tourism in Las Vegas: Apply for Lodgers’ Tax Event Funding

The City of Las Vegas is now accepting applications for special events taking place during the 2025–2026 fiscal year that may be eligible for funding through Lodgers’ Tax. This funding is intended to support events that help promote tourism and encourage overnight stays within the city. Whether your event is a one-time occasion, spans multiple days, or recurs throughout the year, it may qualify for this opportunity. Organizers of annual events are especially encouraged to apply, as consistent programming can play a key role in attracting visitors and boosting the local economy.
To apply, event organizers should carefully review the city’s specific guidelines and deadlines to ensure their application meets all necessary requirements. Applications are available online at www.lasvegasnm.gov or can be picked up in person at Las Vegas City Hall, located at 1700 N. Grand Avenue, Las Vegas, NM 87701. Once completed, applications may be submitted either via email to szunker@lasvegasnm.gov or delivered in person to the Community Development office at City Hall.
The deadline to submit an application is Friday, August 15, 2025, by 4:00 PM. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances, so applicants are strongly encouraged to prepare and submit their materials well in advance. This is a valuable opportunity for event organizers to receive financial support for initiatives that draw visitors to the city and contribute to the vibrancy of the Las Vegas community.
