PSA 9/28/2026 11:00 a.m.: Sandbag Distribution Continues Today Until 3:00 P.M.

The City of Las Vegas will distribute sandbags today, September 28, until 3:00 p.m., or while supplies last. Distribution will take place on the lower level of the Las Vegas City Hall parking lot, 1700 N. Grand Avenue, in front of the Animal Care Center or as directed by City staff.

Sandbags are available to City of Las Vegas and San Miguel County residents on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of 10 sandbags per vehicle. Residents are asked to follow all posted signs, traffic guidance and instructions from City staff while in the distribution area. For more information, please contact Public Works at 505-426-3294.
