The City of Las Vegas Gas Division is repairing a main gas line on Park Place. Gas service will be temporarily shut off to the following areas: Burger King Little Moon Better Stop Park Place Once the repair has been completed, Gas Division employees will be around to light pilots as needed. Hay's Plumbing & Heating will be working on the North Gonzales Street paving from San Miguel to Delgado Street. Construction will begin Wednesday, September 7, 2022 and will be completed Saturday, September 10, 2022. Please follow all signs for detours along North Gonzales while construction is be conducted. North Gonzales from Mills to Delgado and San Miguel will be closed during the paving construction . Traffic will be open to local residents of North Gonzales and surround areas. - PSA September 6, 2022 The pre treatment system installation has been completed and is operational.
The pre treatment system installation has been completed and is operational. The hydrostatic test was completed last week and the systempassed. Over the holiday weekend City staff along with the pre-treatment operators satisfactorily completed the chemical and pump testing. • The volume of treated water in Bradner is currently 45MG and there are 29 days of treatable water. • The volume of water in Storrie Lake is 200 million gallons. Along with the pre treatment system installation and the Gallinas river water clearing up between rainfalls,the City has been able to increase stored water in the reservoirs. The current trend shows that public consumption has been reduced by approximately 200K gallons. There will be a virtual town hall meeting on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be streamed from the City of Las Vegas website at lasvegasnm.gov.
