7/12/24 PSA Southwest Incident Management Team Cleans Debris on Lopez Street in Las Vegas

July 12, 2024

The Southwest Incident Management Team conducted debris removal today on Lopez Street, targeting another high-risk area affected by the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire. This bridge collected substantial fire-related debris, including ash and silt from the arroyo it crosses.

Tomorrow, the team will continue their efforts on Legion Drive and County Road A4A. We appreciate the crew’s hard work and the relief they’re providing to city and county road crews, who are stretched thin dealing with numerous road issues in the City of Las Vegas and San Miguel County.
