Notice of Adjusted City Services – Easter Week 2026

City services will operate on an adjusted schedule due to staff training and the Easter holiday. All City administrative offices—including the Carnegie Library, Rough Rider Museum, and Senior Centers—will be closed Friday, April 3. Please plan accordingly.
Solid Waste Services
· The Transfer Station will be closed on Friday, April 3.
· Residential (handicap) routes will be collected on Thursday, April 2, instead of Friday.
· Commercial routes will be collected on Friday, April 3, as regularly scheduled.
Residents are encouraged to place their containers out on the adjusted collection day to avoid missed service. For more information, please call Solid Waste at 505-617-1253.
Transit Services
Transit staff will be out for mandatory training on Tuesday, March 31, and Wednesday, April 1, 2026, so services will not be available on these days. Normal hours will be maintained on Monday, March 30, and Thursday, April 2. Transit will also be closed on Friday, April 3, for the Easter Holiday. Abe Montoya Recreation Center
The Recreation Center will remain open on Friday, April 3, from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will close for the afternoon, with regular hours resuming on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, please call the Recreation Center at 505-426-1739.
