PSA 6/27/2025 2:00 p.m.: Plaza Park & Road Closures for Fiestas de Las Vegas

The City of Las Vegas would like to inform the public of upcoming temporary closures of Plaza Park and surrounding streets in preparation for the 2025 Fiestas de Las Vegas celebration. Beginning Tuesday, July 1 at 6:00 p.m., Plaza Park will be closed to allow time for event setup, activities, and post-event cleanup. The Plaza will fully reopen on the morning of Monday, July 7, resuming normal business operations.

During this time, parking on the Plaza will not be allowed, and residents and visitors are encouraged to seek alternative parking options. These closures are necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attending the festivities.

Several surrounding streets will also be closed to traffic for the duration of the event. These include:

• Bridge Street at Valencia Street / Paseo del Las Escuelas

• Valencia Street / North Gonzales Street

• North Gonzales Street / Plaza Park

• Valencia Street / Hot Springs Boulevard

• Morrison Street / West National Avenue

• Moreno Street / South Pacific Street

• South Gonzales Street / Moreno Street

• Historic Plaza Park

Drivers should anticipate delays and detours in the area and are advised to use alternate routes during this time.
