Reclaimed water will be available to the public on April 10, 2023. Residential use reclaimed water may be obtained from the reclaimed water standpipe at the Utility Service Center located at 905 1th Street and commercial use reclaimed water can be obtained from the wastewater treatment plant. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 4:15 pm. at Utilities and 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The cost of the water is $1.25 per 1000 gallons and an additional $.50 charge per-trip.
All customers that want to get reclaimed water must stop by Customer Service Center located at 1335 1st Street to sign a usage agreement and set up an account.Customers will not be able to get water until a signed agreement is on file.
Should the temperature drop below 35 degrees, effluent water will not be available and the Utilities Department and Wastewater division will secure the standpipes. Re-selling of reclaimed wastewater is strictly prohibited.
