The City of Las Vegas will observe the Juneteenth Holiday and the Transfer Station will be closed.
Residential and Commercial routes will run as usual! Please have your rollouts out by 7am on Monday morning.

The history of Juneteenth goes back to 1865. In 1866, Union soldiers arrived at Galveston Island, Texas, where they found thousands of enslaved men, women, and children who had been held captive since before the Civil War. They were freed and given their freedom. read more
