    Reduction from Stage V Water Restrictions to Stage Ill Effective immediately the City will drop to water conservation Stage III which includes the following: • Irrigation shall be permitted on the following days and addresses: o Wednesdays at locations with even-numbered street addresses. o Thursdays at locations with odd-numbered street addresses. o Irrigation shall be permitted during the early morning from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. or late evening from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. • Vehicle washing is only permitted at businesses that utilize recycled water. • There will be no refilling or adding of water to swimming pools with the exception of any municipally or Highlands University owned covered(enclosed) swimming pool(s). • All restaurants are prohibited from serving water to their customers except when specifically requested by the customers. • Ornamental fountains may operate if they recirculate water but not during windy periods. Ornamental fountains that do not recirculate water are prohibited. • Use of water from fire hydrants shall be limited to fire fighting, related activities or other activities necessary to maintain the health, safety,and welfare of the citizens served by the municipal water system.   • PSA April 6, 2023 Reclaimed water will be available to the public on April 10, 2023

    Reclaimed water will be available to the public on April 10, 2023. Residential use reclaimed water may be obtained from the reclaimed water standpipe at the Utility Service Center located at 905 1th Street and commercial use reclaimed water can be obtained from the wastewater treatment plant. Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 4:15 pm. at Utilities and 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The cost of the water is $1.25 per 1000 gallons and an additional $.50 charge per-trip. All customers that want to get reclaimed water must stop by Customer Service Center located at 1335 1st Street to sign a usage agreement and set up an account.Customers will not be able to get water until a signed agreement is on file. Should the temperature drop below 35 degrees, effluent water will not be available and the Utilities Department and Wastewater division will secure the standpipes. Re-selling of reclaimed wastewater is strictly prohibited. Please contact the City of Las Vegas Utilities Department at (505)454-3832 with any questions. Thank you.
