  • Update PSA July 12, 2022 The1300 Block of Lopez St. will be closed July 13th & 14th to install a gas

    City of Las Vegas Gas Division will be installing a main gas line on the 1300 block of Lopez Street on July 13th and 14th 2022. The road will be closed at the 1300 block of Lopez Street from Taos Street to Mora Street. Detours will be in place so please proceed with caution. We hope to have the installation completed as soon as posable and apologize for the inconvenience this will cause.     The Utilities Department will be Flushing fire hydrants on Tuesday, July 12, 2022around the City of Las Vegas. The Purpose of this is to help maintain water quality standards and the fire protection system. Citizens may experience brief periods of discolored water or low pressure in these areas, which is normal during flushing operations. Questions may be directed to the Utilities Department at (505) 454-3832.

    Due to maintenance, the effluent water will be out of service until further notice; this includes the water standpipe at the Utilities Service Center located at 905 12th Street, the Waste Water Treatment Plant located off the frontage road on the Southside of town, and anyone that utilizes the effluent water.     The City of Las Vegas Water Division will be replacing water lines from Bernalillo Street to Hot Springs Avenue beginning Thursday, July 7, 2022, through Friday, July 15, 2022. The following roads from Hot Springs Blvd to Bernalillo Street will be closed. Detours will be in place until the completion of the project so proceed with caution.
