PSA 6/12/2025 4:00 p.m.: Two Mayors, One Mission: Beautify Riverwalk Park for 4th of July Fiestas!

Former Mayor Louie Trujillo and current Mayor David Romero are coming together to lead a special community effort to beautify Riverwalk Park in preparation for the 4th of July holiday. This initiative is about more than just cleaning up a public space—it’s about bringing the community together to take pride in our shared environment.

In partnership with Hermit's Peak Watershed Alliance, MainStreet de Las Vegas, and the Las Vegas Board of Realtors, the City is encouraging all residents to participate. Whether you’ve volunteered before or this would be your first time, everyone is welcome to join in and make a difference.

The cleanup event will take place on Friday, June 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Volunteers are asked to meet at the decorative gate at Riverwalk Park, located off Bridge Street. This is a great opportunity for families, students, and neighbors to work together for a good cause.

If you’re unable to attend in person, you can still support the effort by donating supplies such as gloves, garbage bags, and clean-up tools. Every contribution helps and is greatly appreciated.

For more information or to arrange a donation, please contact Louie Trujillo at (505) 429-1062. Let’s come together as a community to make Riverwalk Park a clean, welcoming place for the 4th of July and beyond.

Thank you for supporting your city and taking pride in your local parks!
