The Utilities Department will be flushing fire hydrants on March 1, 2023 - March 8, 2023, around the City of Las Vegas.

Throughout the month you may also see flushing at the Post Office in Montezuma, Valencia Street, Luna Community College, Tractor Supply, Rent-A-Center, Fire Station on Legion, Little Moon, and across from Victory Home Health.

Flushing of hydrants is in conjunction with regular water quality testing for the health and safety of the community. Citizens may experience brief periods of discolored water or low pressure in these areas which is normal during flushing operations.
