The Utilities Department will be flushing fire hydrants November 1, 2022 through November 4, 2022 in different areas around the City of Las Vegas.
Throughout the month you may also see flushing at the Montezuma Post Office, Valencia Street,Luna Community College,Tractor Supply, Rent-A-Center, Fire Station on Legion Drive,Little Moon and across from Victory Home Health.
Flushing of fire hydrants is in conjunction with regular water quality testing for the health and safety of the community. Citizens may experience brief periods of discolored water or low pressure in these areas which is normal during flushing operations.
