PSA 8/7/24 IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER. Las Vegas (city of) has Levels of total Trihalomethanes above Drinking Water Standards

Our water system recently violated a drinking water standard. Although this is not an emergency, as our customers, you have a right to know what happened, what you should do, and what we are doing to correct this situation. We routinely monitor for the presence of drinking water contaminants. Annual average of our testing results shows that our system exceeded the standard or maximum contaminant level (MCL), for Total Trihalomethanes during the 2nd quarter of 2024. The standard for Total Trihalomethanes is 0.080 mg/L, HAA5 is 0.060. The Running Annual Average level of Total Trihalomethanes in the second quarter is shown in the table below:
